A boy, 16, has died after the farmyard car he was driving crashed into a subject in Worsthorne, Lancashire.
The teenager, from the agricultural town about two miles east of Burnley, crashed whereas on a Polaris Ranger Farmbike yesterday.
His car veered out of a carriageway and onto Extwistle Street at around 12.40am.
A Burnley native additionally aboard the bike, 17, prevented being significantly injured.
Police are interesting for witnesses. No different automobiles have been concerned in the incident.
Sgt Martin Wilcock added: 'This collision has resulted in a youngster dropping his life and my thoughts are together with his family members at this troublesome time.
'Having carried out in depth work to determine the circumstances of what led to the collision, we're glad that this is not a legal investigation and we at the moment are carrying out enquiries on behalf of the Coroner.
'With that in mind, I might ask any witnesses or anyone with dashcam masking the world around that point to contact the police.
'A household is grieving and I might ask the public – notably these on social media – not to interact in any unhelpful, pointless and hurtful speculation.'
A Polaris Ranger Farmbike is a kind of utility terrain car (UTV), also referred to as a side-by-side.
